When it's about people they hate, liberals believe anything.
Just how badly do many liberal bloggers want to depict Israelis as heartless killers and Hamas as poor defenseless victims?
GRAPHIC VIDEO WARNING
On Sunday, a more than three year old video of an accidental munitions truck explosion at a Palestinian rally in September 2005 was spread around the liberal blogosphere as footage of an Israeli attack on Gaza on January 3, 2009.
Two prominent leftwing websites — Raw Story and Democratic Underground — displayed this video for hours before a poster at Reddit exposed the hoax (h/t NBer Blazer).
Is it me or does Hamas seems better at blowing up their own people up than Israelis?
And these were the liberal suckas who told us to "believe" because they said so….
The left can say all they want about George W. Bush. At least they can't say he's Commander-in-Check, Please!
In this 2001 "lost episode" of Check, Please!, then state senator Barack Obama reviewed Dixie Kitchen and Bait Shop in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. The full episode will air on January 16th at 8:00PM on WTTW.
The "Dixie Kitchen and Bait Shop". Bet'cha ol' Barack never mentioned that place while hobnobbing in San Francisco.
Breaking on Drudge is the banning of Ann Coulter from all things NBC. But it's not the banning per se that caught my eye, but a quote…
We are just not interested in anyone so highly critical of President-elect Obama, right now. It's such a downer. It's just not the time, and it's not what our audience wants, either.

It's nice to know that NBC has such the pulse of America and wants to give us what they assume we want.
A Minnesota board certified results showing Democrat Al Franken winning the state's U.S. Senate recount over Republican Norm Coleman, whose lawyer promised a legal challenge that will keep the race in limbo for weeks.
It's obvious to the liberal elite that elected him, that Barack Obama can't do it alone (and they say as much). So, it's up to MoveOn.org to hep a brutha' out!
On Sunday, we're holding Congressional Action Trainings around the country. We want you to come.
Here's why it's so important: President-elect Obama is calling for bold change on the big issues—starting with a plan to get the economy moving again. But he'll need the votes in the House and Senate to make it happen.
So we've got to make sure our representatives know we're counting on them to pass Obama's agenda. We'll start by learning the most effective grassroots strategies for influencing Congress—and plan our first visits to local congressional offices.
Liberals are arrogant, vindictive, paranoid hypocrites and Nancy Pelosi just proved the point.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi plans to re-write House rules today to ensure that the Republican minority is unable to have any influence on legislation. Pelosi’s proposals are so draconian, and will so polarize the Capitol, that any thought President-elect Obama has of bipartisan cooperation will be rendered impossible before he even takes office.
Pelosi’s rule changes — which may be voted on today — will reverse the fairness rules that were written around Newt Gingrich’s “Contract with America.”
I've said it time and time again: George W. Bush tried to bring a new tone to Washington and had it spit back in his face. Our RINO wing goes out of their way to "reach out" to people that consider "bi-partisanship" a tactic.
As Democrats go on their vengeful little search-and-destroy mission, remember this when another stupid Republican seeks "bi-partisanship" with Democrats.
I deem it important that we know what the progressive side of the story is. Democracy Now! is always a good guage.
We speak to two Israelis opposed to the assault: Dov Khenin, a Knesset member with the the Jewish-Arab party Hadash; and Jonathan Benartzi, an Israeli conscientious objector who spent more than a year in prison for refusing to serve. He also happens to be the nephew of Benjamin Netanyahu, a leading proponent of attacking Gaza and a favorite to win the upcoming Israeli elections.
BTW- This Hamas-propaganda spewing, little shit conscientious objector Jonathan Ben-Artzi is holed up, not dodging incoming Hamas rockets in Israel, but under the cover of a nice warm room in Providence, Rhode Island.
The column “Israel can’t bomb its way to peace” should be mandatory reading for anybody that wants to learn absolutely nothing, and do so badly. In the great tradition of liberal columnists, I shall cherry pick the worst of the comments. The difference is that unlike these liberal journalists, they will be perfectly in context.
“As long as President Bush was in the White House, Israel could count on a U.S. administration that wasn’t merely ’supportive’ of Israel but blindly, mindlessly so.”
Yes, the obligatory smug cheap shot at President George W. Bush has to be part of any liberal article. After all, the geniuses at the Los Angeles Palestiniant Times (LAPT) cannot just disagree with the current policy. They need to call it “mindless.” In their world, the President has no mind. He cannot think clearly, which is ironic given that on issues of right and wrong, he seems crystal clear. Israelis defending themselves are the good guys. Hamas murderers are the bad guys. Nothing about this requires nuance.
With typical liberal bleeding-heart elitism, Rosa Brooks at the Los Angeles Times has given us yet another example of their thinking. Minorities are intellectually inferior, incapable of knowing right from wrong because of their socio-economic conditions, thus violent outbursts are expected and condoned.
Ever notice that Jew-bashing is only excused when done by white, liberal elites? Funny how that works.
We’ve seen Obama victory hats, Obama look-alike used car commercials (from the ‘trendy’ section of Dallas, I might add), Montel Williams hosting TV ads (no relation to the brilliant Walter Williams) for this: Obama Historic Commemorative Plates (SPEW WARNING) for the mere price of $19.99 (plus S&H) you can have a ‘collectible’ crappy Chinese-made stoneware plate worth about $2 at Wal-Mart, with the visage of the Lawn-Jockey-In-Waiting imprinted on it with the inscription of the brilliant and fresh statement that “Change Has Come” beneath the well-retouched portrait, but wait… you also get a “free” presidential coin for an even better deal. It’s a shame, no one can tell us exactly what change has or will come.
Regardless, it’s a beautiful system we have of free-market trade when companies spend millions to produce products that don’t have any real value, only potential value as a mockery of something that hasn’t and won’t occur with the hopes the suckers buyers are willing to part with their hard-earned dollars to obtain. Old P. T. Barnum was right. A much better investment would be lottery tickets, that is, if congress leaves you ANY disposable income.
The dish website is complete with an automatic and annoying video, wineglass-toasting white people, celebrating their election of the "first African American president" with "confident smile and kind eyes".
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was forced to defend his support for African-American politicians in a testy exchange with David Gregory on "Meet the Press" Sunday.
Gregory went on to say that people close to Burris were suggesting that "Reid doesn't want an African-American to succeed Obama." Reid gave a lengthy and impassioned defense of his history of promoting black Senate politicians. Anyone accusing him of racism, he concluded, is "part of the Blagojevich spin."
Reading the comments of some of the HuffPos are kind of pitiful.
They cite how inclusive and tolerant of black people Democrats have been… since THE 1930's (which is also historically incorrect). Then again, what Democrats did TO black people for a couple centuries before should never count because they've "grown".
